At a distance of 45 km. from Antalya can be found the newly opened ski resort of Saklikent, overlooking the Mediterranean, which offers very good ski runs. Thus Antalya, famous for sun and sea, has the distinction of also offering winter sports facilities during the winter months.

From late September to the end of January every year, the mountain goat (Persian Ibex) and wild boar hunts are organized in Antalya's Termessos National Park. Due to the increasing number of foreign hunters taking part in these hunts, this sport has taken on an international character.
